The River Test is a famous chalk stream river, world renowned for its fishing sport, both coarse and fly fishing.  Some of the best trout beats in the world are within striking distance of Brook Farm Cottages.

Similarly if you are a shooting person, there are some excellent shoots nearby.

If you are walking or cycling the Cottages adjoin the Test Way, giving immediate access to a network of footpaths, cycle and bridleways.

There are numerous stables, with ample opportunity to ride both in the Test Valley and on the New Forest.

With prior notice fly and coarse fishing can be arranged, as can shooting, riding and a host of other activities.
